We stand behind every job — and we tell you exactly what's covered and what isn't. No fine print, no surprises.
When you hire an HVAC company, you’re trusting that the work will hold up. That’s not a small ask. So we’ve laid out exactly what we guarantee, exactly what we don’t, and exactly what to do if something goes wrong.
No legal fine print. No hidden exclusions. Just the straight read.
It matters to us that you know that we are here for you!
Backed by Rooted Heating & Air
Our promise on the work we do directly. It has two parts.
part 1 - service-call coverage
When we come out for a service call and replace a part, that part is covered for 1 year from the date we install it. If the part fails, or our work on it falls short, we come back and make it right at no charge to you.
No deductible. No “case-by-case” judgment calls. If we put it in and it failed, we own it.
part 2 - install coverage
When we install a new system — whether it’s an AC, a heating system, or a mini-split — our labor is covered for 18 months. That covers workmanship, man-hours, and any labor cost related to the work we did.
If our install develops a problem because of how we did the job, we come back and make it right.

Backed by the manufacturer
Your installed equipment also comes with a warranty from the manufacturer — separate from anything Rooted promises. This is what covers the parts and components inside the unit itself.
Every piece of equipment we install carries a firm 5-year parts warranty from the manufacturer. This is automatic — no paperwork on your end.
We can register your equipment with the manufacturer at install to extend the parts warranty to a full 10 years.
Just let us know you’d like the extended coverage and we’ll handle the paperwork.
The manufacturer requires the equipment to be serviced every 6 months. You can have us do it, or another provider — just keep documentation showing it was done.
Without proof of regular service, the manufacturer can decline a warranty claim.
If you sell the home, the warranty’s portability depends on when you sell:
if something's off
We'll look at the issue and tell you whether it falls under one of these warranties or not. If it's covered, we make it right. If it's not, we'll tell you why and walk you through your options.
